From traditional games such as Go Fish or War to others such as Onze and 7-Up, card games have long been popular methods to pass the time or even the central focus of a party. The rules and objective of. Sevens, also known as Laying Out Sevens, Fan Tan, Crazy Sevens or Parliament, is a card game for 4 players using a standard deck of 52 cards. Cards are played out to form a layout of sequences.
Instructions
First you dig out the sevens in the deck and then you lay them vertically in a row. Then you deal the remaining cards out to the players. Then the person to the left of the dealer starts. You must get a six or eight of the suit next to the seven. Each time a card is laid you count the cards in the row and give that many drinks (you can divide them up or gang up on someone.) As soon as a player cannot lay a card in sequence they must leave a gap. When a gap is left that player must drink the number of cards in that row, including the gaps. And each time a player plays in that row they must drink the drinks until the gap is filled. The game is over when everyone is out of cards. You get VERY messed up.

Game Play
The 7s begin the foundation piles from which all other cards are built. The player left of the dealer is first to play. A 7 has to be the first card played. Once a 7 is played, a 6 or 8 in the same suit can be played off of that 7.
Cards continue to be played in sequence from the available cards on the middle foundation piles. Only one card is played per turn. If a player cannot play a card into the middle, he/she pays one chip into the middle pot.

The round is over once a player plays his/her last card. All other players pay the pot chips equal to the number of cards still in their hand at the end.
The winner of the round is awarded all the chips in the middle pot. The winner is the player with the most chips after an agreed upon amount of deals.
